"Dawn of Freedom" Ltd ed of 141

Over 100 Dawns have finally shipped out and gone around the world! The Ltd edition prints look eye bogglingly 3D. Again, amazing work from my fine art printers. Just wow.

Images above:
are a mix of the Ltd ed of 141, the A.P.6/10 - with hand written message in pencil saying: "First there was code, and then there was light". This is ONLY on the A.P. 6/10
Also you can see some shots of the original. Can you tell the difference?! Lol ;))

Ltd Edition of 141:
This is a high quality art print, of the original painting "The Dawn of Freedom" that represents the iconic "Stock to Flow" chart developed by PlanB@100trillionUSD. The original is the 3rd in a family of S2F paintings, and here's your chance to own a Ltd ed print of this collectors piece. This is a Ltd Ed H.M.P. (Hand Modified Print) - as the scarce asset data dots have highest quality gold and other pure metallic leafs lovingly hand applied to each print.

More about Dawn:
"Dawn of Freedom" has quite a few extra Bitcoin data dots, that were added to the model since I painted Genesis and Fourth Turning. This time the Silver crater has also been re-positioned according to new figures with a remnant of the original location.

All the key creative decisions and choices were put out on social media to the Bitcoin community for them to vote for their favourite choice, in the spirit of opensource creationism - the same spirit and space in which Bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto. This was not easy as an artist and creator. I learned a lot on hive mind creation and about my willingness or capability to let go and trust in the process. It also gave me some insight into what it must have been like for Satoshi himself to put his Bitcoin baby out into the world for others to contribute to.

Super Ltd edition of Artist Proofs:
A.P.s are "artist proofs". There are 10x collector A.P.s of DoF. Traditionally they are the very first test prints which often have handwritten notes from the artist in hard pencil on the actual image of the print (usually instructions for the printer, but I like to make notes that are Bitcoin related and energetically fun or powerful).

141 = BIP 141 was the SegWit proposal also known as the Consensus Layer

The gold leafing is a delicate process that takes time and attention to detail and is done with a lot of love and care.

  • Although this art print is printed with UV colour safe inks AND has been treated with UV protection spray,, it is not recommended to hang it in a spot that get's strong direct sunlight during the day. If you must, then I recommend using UV safe glass as a double precaution, when you get it framed locally. Museum glass, is AMAZING, and also more pricey. You can't see the glass at all as it has zero reflections, it is the absolute best glass if you want to go all out.

When unwrapping and handling the print, please take care, with clean hands or using white gloves. Do NOT roll it in the opposite direction to the natural curvature of the paper (the same direction you received it in). In stead, I suggest asking the framers to flatten it for a day or 2, before they frame it.

As paper has memory, try not to keep it rolled up for too long (a couple of weeks at most) - having it framed will be the best way to preserve and protect it.
